RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a convenient way to receive
frequently updated content, such as blog posts, without cluttering your
email inbox. To use RSS, you will need to first obtain or subscribe to
a feed reader or feed aggregator software, such as the free Google
Reader (web-based), FeedDemon (a desktop application), or a web-browser
add-on/extension. Some mobile phones are equipped with a feed
reader application.
RSS feeds can easily be integrated into other websites, widgets or
applications. Users can combine multiple feeds into a single
master feed, which can be filtered or searched by keywords.
